Careers Information, Advice and Guidance
Christ the King College prides itself on its commitment to the flexibilty of study options, both academic and vocational. We are in the process of building a range of information on suitable careers for each one of our students, supporting them through their chosen pathways and ensuring that they are supported through the decision-making process.
Collaborating with the appropriate outside advisors and visiting speakers, we plan to ensure that all students are well equipped to make informed choices, allowing them to achieve both personal satisfaction and economic success.
Year 9 – Option choices to make soon
In College, make use of the network to access the specialised software JED, Job Explorer Database. This is found via ‘Applications’ on your network home page. Many of you will have already accessed this but if you have any questions or problems please see Mrs. Jupe in the Upper College Library.
Alternatively, if you are a parent with concerns about your child’s option choices, please do not hesitate to e-mail our Careers Co-ordinator in College and we will try to answer any questions you may have, although we hope that our Options Evening in January will supply all the information you need to aid your child with the Options process.
